ABOUT US

I'm writing this book as a way to teach people about genetics and breeding. I meet people regularly who don't understand the complexity behind breeding plants. While farmers actually do the growing, our food starts with plant breeders. A plant breeder's work will touch millions of lives, between farmers and consumers.

 

While text books are nice, as the information becomes more technical, it becomes more difficult to follow or comprehend. We are much more visual creatures and pictures dramatically increase our comprehension. Since becoming introduced to the Cartoon Guide to Statistics, I realized cartooning is the perfect vehicle to deliver this message.

 

One of the hottest topics is about GMOs. This controversial topic will be covered as it is often confusing and complicated. As with most things, the real but unsatisfying answer is...well, it depends.
