Project Management of a Book

Early morning, espcially on weekends, my brain awakes but my eyes stay closed. I start thining about this book and what it is going to take to finish it. I am anticipating 12-18 months, or 52-76 weeks. If my current rate is about 1 page a week (drawing and writing) it is probably going to take longer than that time. I would need to finish 2-3 and more on the 3 per week side to finish this book (76 x 3 = 228). I am around 74 pages that are completed I would say and it has been about 6 months, so it may be doable. Just knowing myself, if this stops being fun, It will be difficult to continue going. I am already up early and drawing every moment I can. For my birthday I was given a drawing book that I am over half way filling. The drawings actually take quite a bit of time, and I have a number of unfinished pages. So, I guess it is possible, I just need to keep trucking along.

I drew this sunflower over the last couple of days. I like how it turned out. It is always challenging getting your brain to make something 3D look that way when it is flat. Since I started, I can definitely see improvement.
