Writing Update

I have been continuing to write the book. After my writing update projecting my rate of writing, needing to keep up with between 2-4 pages each week, I focused increasing my output. Trying to meet that output has been a challenge, but good.

Last week I made a list of images and pages to finish. I know myself, if I wait until the very end to work on completing those pages, it will be a drag, so periodically I will need to focus on completion of unfinished work. It is also a good way to add pages to my count. I still need to keep it fun and free, so I keep things relatively unstructured. I do have to say my drawing skills and understanding of breeding have definitely deepened.

I've also been trying to identify a domain name. There are squatters who purchase domain names to sit on them charging exorbitant prices for them. Unfortunately the strategy works and pays off. At the same time, making up a name is easy to circumvent these squatters and in many cases has resulted in some additional branding benefits.

Here is the latest drawing of Darwin's Finches. My daughter had tubes put into her ears and the anesthesiologist saw my drawing of the finches and then commented that I was a good illustrator.
